Hypnosis/Self-Hypnosis

All hypnosis is really self-hypnosis.  Almost everyone has the potential to be hypnotized and to strengthen their immune system, reduce stress levels, sleep more soundly, overcome phobias, enhance learning and creativity, increase self-confidence, manage or reduce pain levels, recall forgotten information, diminish or overcome problematic health issues, and much more.  In order to maximize each person's self-empowerment, hypnosis sessions at this office are typically combined with self-hypnosis instruction, so at the end of a series of sessions, not only have you received help in relation to a particular challenge, but you also have learned a skill which you can use for the rest of your life.  Sharing self-hypnosis instruction during a session makes it clear that you are ultimately in control of each hypnosis session.  Some people are unable to tell the difference between being deeply relaxed and being hypnotized.  There are subltle differences, which Dr. Wagner will demonstrate to you, if you ask.  However the most important difference you will notice is how you live  your life after a session.  Clients usually find it easier to achieve the goals they have set for themselves, and they achieve desired results more quickly with the assistance of hypnosis and self-hypnosis.   During her years as a hypnotist, Elaine Wagner has been privileged to help people reduce or eliminate recurrent nightmares, significantly reduce pain from burns, contusions and other injuries, strengthen their immune systems to help them manage or overcome serious illnesses, enhance their creative abilities, and renew their enthusiasm about musical composition,  acting in theatre, and creative writing.  She has helped people stop smoking, lose weight, manage and reduce stress, discipline themselves to follow specific exercise programs, and make other desired life-style changes.  Many years ago, Dr. Wagner eliminated her own migraine headaches through self-hypnosis.
